Survive the Summer Slump with Social

We had the privilege of having Ryan Wakefield from Social Church join us for a reset webinar. He shared some of his tips and tricks on how to use social media this summer to engage church communities. Here are some highlights Ryan shared with us.

Be Purposeful.

Remember, in the world of social media, knowing who you want to reach is the start to creating effective content. Think about the things that matter to the people in your community, and be a part of those conversations.

Create. Create. Create.

One of the biggest challenges to social media is knowing what you should post. This can be extremely daunting, especially if you are just starting out. Thankfully, you have the best content creator on your staff: your pastor. Ryan shared how you can create content to continue the conversation after Sunday and support the sermon series.

Be Personal.

When it comes down to it, your community wants to know your church and feel connected. You have so many wonderful stories within your congregation that show all the amazing things your church has done and continues to do. Share those things! Ryan also mentioned some cool ways to share even the most basic information in a personal way.

This is just a snapshot. Watch the entire webinar to learn how to grow your church this summer!
